But the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aaltci.org\/cities\/corpus-christi-long-term-care-insurance.php\">cost<\/a>\u00a0of a nursing home is not a feasible option for so many seniors on a strict budget. A semi-private room for seniors will cost\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aaltci.org\/cities\/texas-long-term-care-insurance.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">around $125 a day<\/a>, with a private room jumping up to $170 a day. This ends up being thousands per month, a price that most cannot afford.<\/p>\n<h2>Assisted Living Costs<\/h2>\n<p>Assisted living facilities may sound like the better option. However, they are still extremely expensive in Corpus Christi. An assisted living facility in Corpus Christi\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aaltci.org\/cities\/corpus-christi-long-term-care-insurance.php\">starts<\/a>\u00a0at $1,450 and can go as high as $4,500 a month. Again, this comes out to tens of thousands of dollars a year.
