Two of the staff at Caring Senior Service of Northern Virginia, a private-duty, non-medical home care services company in Gainesville, Virginia, have completed all the certifications and actions necessary to earn Caring Seniors Service\u2019s GreatCare\u00ae Master Certification.<\/p>\n

Angela \u201cAngie\u201d Collins achieved the master certification for her role as the location\u2019s care manager and Nicole Pierce achieved her master certification for her position as a homecare consultant.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are both excited for Angie and Nicole and proud of their achievements,\u201d said Wayne Mitchell, owner of Caring Senior Service of Northern Virginia. \u201cWe only hire team members who display a true passion for serving others and who have experience working with seniors. Angie and Nicole have certainly shown their dedication by completing these certifications so diligently.\u201d<\/p>\n
The GreatCare\u00ae method addresses the three most important areas of senior care concern: quality caregivers, care solutions and active involvement. To achieve the GreatCare\u00ae Master Certification, participants must complete a progressive program that starts at the certified level, moves to the advanced level and then culminates with the master level.<\/p>\n
Each level challenges the staff to achieve milestones in their educational background, professional development and delivery standards.<\/p>\n

Caring Senior Service rolled out the certifications as part of the company\u2019s overall GreatCare\u00ae mission in January. Team members who had more than two years\u2019 experience could achieve a master certification through an accelerated program path in their local office.<\/p>\n
Staff members who complete levels of GreatCare\u00ae certification are given recognition, career advancement opportunities and an invitation to a GreatCare\u00ae Master conference on behalf of their local owner.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
