Red Poppy Festival 2025

by | Apr 30, 2025

Caring Senior Service of Georgetown is thrilled to announce our expansion into the Central Texas area, officially opening in Georgetown on April 1st, 2025. Owned by Rebecca and Dustin Rauch, who launched Caring Senior Service Waco in late 2021, who bring a personal touch to caregiving. Owner Dustin Rauch emphasizes the vital role caregivers play in the lives of families, drawing from the experiences he and his wife Rebecca, both dedicated physical therapists, have had while caring for their loved ones. This initiative is our heartfelt way of giving back to the community. After experiencing life-changing moments, we feel compelled to contribute positively to the lives of our neighbors. The 2025 Poppy Parade provided a wonderful opportunity to introduce ourselves to the community. The vibrant spirit of the Red Poppy Festival was an inspiring as our community united to celebrate the rich heritage and camaraderie that define Georgetown during the Poppy Parade on Saturday, April 26th, 2025. The air was filled with the delightful aromas from local food trucks and the lively sounds of marching bands. The Poppy Parade was a resounding success, with our Caring Senior Service family proudly demonstrating our commitment to serving seniors at the heart of this festive occasion. We waved greetings to our neighbors from our Caring Senior Service car, adorned with colorful balloons and red poppy flowers. The parade route wound through downtown Georgetown, showcasing the historic roots of our community alongside the vibrant festival grounds. We are honored to be part of such a cherished tradition, steadfast in our dedication to enhancing the lives of seniors throughout the Georgetown area, ensuring they remain happy, healthy, and at home. As we embark on this exciting journey in Georgetown, we invite you to join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. Together, we can foster a supportive community where every senior is valued and cared for.
