Find the Right Care
Personal Care
Many seniors put off asking for personal care help, and that delay can lead to accidents or health setbacks. Our New Providence senior caregivers assist with bathing, hygiene, dressing, mobility, and light exercise, so every morning starts safely.
Companion Care
Loneliness takes a real toll on senior health, and it often goes unnoticed until the damage is done. We spend meaningful time with each client through conversation, shared activities, and neighborhood walks.
Specialty Care
When a loved one faces a serious health condition, generic care is not enough. Caring Senior Service provides specialized support for dementia, fall prevention, stroke recovery, post-operative care, and more.
Veterans Care
The men and women who served in the U.S. military face challenges that general home care programs often miss. Our veteran-specific care services address those unique needs directly, helping vets stay safe, independent, and comfortable at home.
Meet Our Team
Finding a caregiver you can trust with someone you love is not easy. That is why every member of our New Providence senior help team passes a detailed background check and keeps their skills sharp through continuous training. We hire for heart first, then build the expertise around it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do your services include?
Aging looks different for everyone, and so does the support that helps. Our New Providence senior caregivers build a personalized plan around your loved one’s specific needs to protect their comfort, safety, and independence. Our services include:
- COMPANIONSHIP: Isolation can quietly chip away at a senior’s well-being. Our caregivers build real connections through conversation and shared activities, helping seniors stay engaged, uplifted, and socially active.
- RESPITE CARE: Even the most dedicated family caregivers need time to recharge. Our respite care service provides temporary, reliable support for seniors so caregivers can attend to their own needs without worry.
- PERSONAL CARE: Helping a loved one with bathing or grooming can feel uncomfortable for everyone involved. Our New Providence in-home care provides professional, dignified support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily needs so your loved one stays safe and comfortable.
- MEAL PREPARATION: Good nutrition supports everything from energy levels to cognitive health, but preparing meals gets harder with age. Our caregivers take care of planning, cooking, and cleanup with attention to dietary requirements and food preferences.
- MEDICATION REMINDERS: Managing multiple prescriptions is a real challenge for many older adults. Our New Providence senior caregivers offer friendly, reliable medication reminders to help seniors stay on track and avoid the risks of missed or incorrect doses.
- TRANSPORTATION: Losing driving independence should not mean losing access to the world. We provide dependable transportation for seniors so they can attend appointments, connect with their community, and keep living fully.
- ERRAND SERVICE: A growing to-do list can feel unmanageable for seniors who have limited mobility or energy. Our caregiving team handles grocery shopping, pharmacy runs, and other routine errands so your loved one’s daily needs are met without the stress.
- LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING: A safe home starts with a clean one. Our New Providence senior caregivers assist with light household chores, including laundry, dusting, vacuuming, and dishes, so your loved one’s living space stays comfortable and free from everyday hazards.
- HOME SAFETY ASSESSMENT: You cannot fix a hazard you cannot see. Our detailed 43-point home safety assessment gives families a full picture of the risks inside their loved one’s home and the steps needed to make it safer.
- FAMILY PORTAL: Staying informed about a loved one’s care should not require constant phone calls. Every client receives a dedicated tablet with access to our secure Family Portal, where you can view care schedules, caregiver notes, shared documents, and communicate directly with our care team.

How much does the service cost?
Caring for a family member should not come with confusing pricing. We charge a single flat hourly rate across all service types, and we work with your family to determine exactly how many hours of support your loved one needs.
Does insurance cover the cost of your services?
Paying for home care does not have to fall entirely on your shoulders. Long-term care insurance and the VA’s Aid and Attendance program can both be applied toward our services. Our staff can walk you through the VA prequalification forms if you need a hand. Most major health insurance plans do not cover home care assistance. Medicaid may apply in limited situations for certain services, though not all Caring Senior Service locations currently accept it. Families caring for a loved one with dementia may also qualify for support through Medicare’s GUIDE Model program. Reach out to Caring Senior Service to find out more.
High-Touch Meets High-Tech
Great home care goes beyond showing up. We combine personal, attentive caregiving with tablet technology and virtual care management tools so your loved one gets responsive, around-the-clock support every day.
