How much does the service cost?

Our in-home care in Springfield is offered at a flat hourly rate, no matter the type of services we provide. We will consult with you to determine the number of hours that are needed to support your loved one.

Does insurance cover the cost of your services?

You can use long-term care insurance or the VA’s Aid and Attendance program to pay for home care services. Our team is happy to help if you need assistance with the prequalification requirements for the VA benefit. Major health insurance providers don’t cover home care services. Although Medicaid does cover specific services in some cases, not all Caring Senior Service offices accept Medicaid at this time. Caring Senior Service stood out because they were able to match us with caregivers who understood and could meet my father's needs as an aging senior living with dementia.

We initially needed only about 15 hours of care per week. However, when my mother suffered a fall and tore her rotator cuff, Caring Senior Service quickly arranged caregivers to provide 24/7 support. Their responsiveness during such a difficult time was invaluable.

Our care coordinator, Kyano, was always accessible as our needs evolved and even stepped in to cover shifts himself when necessary. Our caregivers—Mushin, Gilbert, and Richard—treated my father like family and consistently showed him and my mother kindness, patience, and respect.

As my father's condition progressed, we ultimately made the difficult decision to move him into a memory care community. While we knew it was the right time, saying goodbye to our care team was not easy because they had become like family to us.
