Our Owners
Cathy Trlica is the owner of Caring Senior Service of New Braunfels and brings more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her background includes physician practice management as well as directing support for a regional network of a large insurance company. In 2004, Cathy opened Caring Senior Service of New Braunfels and has proudly served seniors and families in New Braunfels and the surrounding areas for over 20 years. She was inspired to start a home care business in memory of her grandmother, who longed to remain at home rather than move into a facility. This experience fueled Cathy’s passion for helping families achieve their goal of aging safely and independently at home. Cathy is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the seniors Caring serves.
Our Owners
Lara Harris is the Agency Director/Co-Owner of Caring Senior Service of New Braunfels. She began working with the company in 2007, helping Cathy, her Mom, manage office responsibilities as the business continued to grow. Over the years, Lara has worked in nearly every aspect of the operation, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the needs of seniors, families, caregivers, and staff. Her hands-on experience and dedication have played a key role in the growth and success of the New Braunfels office, as well as in maintaining the high standards of care the agency is known for. In 2021, Lara was promoted to Agency Director, allowing Cathy the opportunity to step back and semi-retire while ensuring the agency continued to thrive. Today, Lara leads the team in delivering compassionate, high-quality care and remains committed to helping seniors in New Braunfels and the surrounding areas live Healthy, Happy, and at Home.
Our Team
Your Caring Team consists of quality caregivers, care managers, and an agency director. Caregivers are the backbone of Caring Senior Service. We only hire caregivers that display a true passion for serving others and who also have experience working with seniors. Our caregivers report to a Care manager whose job is to ensure that each client has the best caregiver based on skill, experience, and personality. Our care managers also make regular visits to a client’s home to make sure that care plans remain up to date and that everyone is happy with care. Finally, the agency director ensures that each client receives GreatCare ®. They manage the team to make sure clients get the best service day or night. The agency director has the important responsibility of making sure that the statement “We provide GreatCare®” is not just what we say, it’s what we do.
