Our caregivers assist clients with a range of tasks, promoting their independence.

How much does the service cost?

We charge an hourly, flat rate no matter what services are required. We work with you and your loved one to conduct a full assessment to determine the hours required in properly assisting your loved one.

Does insurance cover the cost of your services?

Most medical insurance companies do not cover the elderly home care and assistance. However, many of our clients use long-term care insurance or the VA Aid and Attendance program. We can provide guidance on prequalification for the VA benefit for those who are eligible. Medicaid may cover some services, but most of our offices do not currently accept this option. Medicare’s GUIDE Model may offer resources for individuals with dementia and their family caregivers. Ask us for details.

  Having caregivers around the clock for my mother, for many years, I definitely feel qualified to speak about  the caliber of the finest agency,  here, in the Wilmington area.  Caring Senior Services is the best this town has to offer.  Their staff members are vetted, trained, great with patient care, bathing, dressing,  and patient’s personal hygiene too.  We have to have all daily menus planned and meals prepped and cooked.  While we have our own daily staff to clean, Caring Sr. Services assists with errands, trips to the grocery, entertainment, outings and all transport, current events, and most importantly, the household pet’s schedules, meals, and overall welfare.  We have on average two to three shifts daily.  After each shift, trash is emptied, floors are vacuumed and mopped.  Our team is always happy to back their way out cleaning and smiling, all the while!   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I saw their ad in Saint Mark’s Catholic Church and decided to reach out — and I’m so thankful I did! From the very first call, the staff at Caring Senior Service has been nothing short of amazing. They were compassionate, professional, and truly cared about helping my mother get the support she needed. Their caregivers have been absolutely wonderful — reliable, kind, and genuinely invested in my mom’s well-being. They stepped in on short notice and were able to provide 24/7 care, which gave our family tremendous peace of mind. The team also went the extra mile by helping us make her home safer and more comfortable, recommending resources and accommodations for her new physical limitations. Because our family travels frequently and can’t always be with my mom, the staff has truly become an extension of our family. They treat her with the same love and respect that we would, and that means the world to us.   I can’t say enough good things about Caring Senior Service. They’ve been helping my mother for several months now, and the difference has been amazing. The caregivers are dependable, kind, and truly treat her like family. They go above and beyond—whether it’s helping with meals, keeping her company, or making sure she’s comfortable and safe. Communication has been great too; the office staff always keep me updated and are quick to respond whenever I have questions. It gives me such peace of mind knowing my mom is in good hands. The nurse Krista has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She gives me peace of mind, knowing someone is looking out for my mother when I’m not close by.   For almost a year, we have enlisted the support of Caring Senior Services.  From our first meeting, Joey totally understood our needs and has steadily supplied my sister-n-law with a support team. Our person-to-person communications, which are very important to us, are thorough and productive.  We really appreciate all that Joey has done and continues to do to maintain dialogue and effectiveness.  My sister-in-law went into a state of shock at the sudden death of her son last summer.   Caring Seniors is such an easy group to work with. I have had them helping my mom for a few years now and they are very kind and will work with you and help find the perfect Aide to assist you.   Caring Senior Services has been providing 24/7 care for the past 8 weeks for my sister who had a nearly fatal auto accident in Southport NC.  Several broken bones including both arms, one ankle, sternum, and other injures. They are helping with all aspects of her daily care, and helping with rehab, follow up doctor appointments, etc.  She has made great progress, and the care from CSS has been a big reason.  Krista and Joey (the management staff) have been great with follow up and communication.  The day to day caregivers have followed what they need to do to help reach a complete recovery.

  We had two different care givers at my mom’s house We met with Mollie before she started the weekend shift. And she  was great. She listened to my mom needs. And my mom is not easy going. Alicia did the shift during the week and she also was very accommodating to my mom’s needs. My mom got hit by car when she was riding her bike and she couldn’t get up because of her head Injury. And I live out of town and was totally dependent on the care givers. I  definitely will use them again. Thankfully my mom is doing better now.
