Our caregivers assist clients with a range of tasks, promoting their independence.

PERSONAL CARE: Our caregivers are available for assistance with daily care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and more.
COMPANIONSHIP: Our caregivers are passionate about ensuring seniors get quality care and warm companionship so they do not feel alone.

FAMILY PORTAL: We preload our Family Portal onto a provided tablet, which allows our clients to have easy access to support and communicate with staff.
MEAL PREPARATION: We can prepare fresh meals at home for your loved one, paying close attention to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
MEDICATION REMINDERS: Staying on track with medication doses and schedules is important, so we offer our seniors friendly reminders.
ERRAND SERVICE: We can help mail packages, pick up prescriptions, and more. Running errands is something we enjoy doing for our seniors.
LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING: All seniors deserve to have a clean and safe home, which is why we help with light housekeeping such as dishes, laundry, and more.
HOME SAFETY ASSESSMENT: With our 43-point home safety assessment, safety hazards will be identified to ensure the safety of our seniors.

How much does the service cost?

We charge an hourly, flat rate no matter what services are required. We work with you and your loved one to conduct a full assessment to determine the hours required in properly assisting your loved one.

Does insurance cover the cost of your Columbus home care assistance?

Many clients cover our Columbus-based home care assistance with long-term care insurance or the VA Aid and Attendance benefit program. Some of our services may be covered by Medicaid, but most of our offices don’t currently accept this. Please note that major medical insurance providers do not cover in-home care assistance. If you’re eligible for the VA benefit, we can help you with the prequalification process. Medicare’s GUIDE Model may offer resources for individuals with dementia and their family caregivers. Ask us for details.

For over three years, they provided dedicated care for my mother as her condition gradually declined—from needing help with daily tasks and companionship. Throughout this difficult journey, the caregivers showed remarkable compassion, patience, and genuine kindness. I would especially like to recognize Tiffani and Chanele, who went above and beyond in every way. Their attentiveness and warmth made an incredible difference, and they truly became like trusted members of our family.   Caring of Columbus was a perfect fit for my Mother's care.  Both Tiffany and Chanele went over and above on many occasions to make sure my Mother was well cared for and safe.   They were always professional, but, added that personal touch that was very important when caring for a loved one with cognitive issues.  Do not hesitate to call and use their services.
