Our caregivers assist clients with a range of tasks, promoting their independence.

PERSONAL CARE: Our caregivers assist with daily personal care tasks, such as bathing, getting dressed, incontinence care, mobility, and more!
COMPANIONSHIP: Our caregivers enjoy visiting, sharing stories, playing games, and providing social interaction for our seniors.
RESPITE CARE: We provide family caregivers with a break from their daily duties. You can relax knowing your loved one is in good hands.
TRANSPORTATION: To help our seniors maintain their independence, we happily provide safe and convenient transportation around town.
FAMILY PORTAL: Every client receives a tablet with our Family Portal installed. This improves communication and makes scheduling care a breeze.
MEAL PREPARATION: If our seniors have dietary restrictions or personal preferences, we accommodate! Our caregivers prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals.
MEDICATION REMINDERS: By reminding our seniors to take their medications on time, we ensure they never miss an important dose.
ERRAND SERVICE: If our seniors need help with errands, picking up medications, or simply dropping off mail, our caregivers are here to help!
LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING: A tidy home is a safer home, which is what we want for our seniors. We can help with chores like laundry, dishes, and sweeping floors.
HOME SAFETY ASSESSMENT: With our 43-point home safety assessment, we help ensure the home environment is safe for our seniors.

How much does the service cost?

We charge an hourly, flat rate no matter what services are required. We work with you and your loved one to conduct a full assessment to determine the hours required in properly assisting your loved one.

Does insurance cover the cost of your Columbus home care assistance?

Many clients cover our Columbus-based home care assistance with long-term care insurance or the VA Aid and Attendance benefit program. Some of our services may be covered by Medicaid, but most of our offices don’t currently accept this. Please note that major medical insurance providers do not cover in-home care assistance. If you’re eligible for the VA benefit, we can help you with the prequalification process. Medicare’s GUIDE Model may offer resources for individuals with dementia and their family caregivers. Ask us for details.

For over three years, they provided dedicated care for my mother as her condition gradually declined—from needing help with daily tasks and companionship. Throughout this difficult journey, the caregivers showed remarkable compassion, patience, and genuine kindness. I would especially like to recognize Tiffani and Chanele, who went above and beyond in every way. Their attentiveness and warmth made an incredible difference, and they truly became like trusted members of our family.   Caring of Columbus was a perfect fit for my Mother's care.  Both Tiffany and Chanele went over and above on many occasions to make sure my Mother was well cared for and safe.   They were always professional, but, added that personal touch that was very important when caring for a loved one with cognitive issues.  Do not hesitate to call and use their services.
