Our caregivers assist clients with a range of tasks, promoting their independence.

COMPANIONSHIP: Our companionship services include visiting, sharing stories, playing cards, and providing social interaction to keep seniors engaged.
RESPITE CARE: With our respite care services, family caregivers can take a break knowing their loved ones are taken care of by professionals who care.
TRANSPORTATION: We want to ensure seniors feel independent and can get to where they need to go. That’s why we offer safe transportation services.
FAMILY PORTAL: Every client we work with receives a tablet with access to our Family Portal, which improves communication and eases care scheduling.
MEAL PREPARATION: Our meal preparation services allow us to provide seniors with the meals they need, built around their dietary restrictions.
MEDICATION REMINDERS: We provide helpful reminders to seniors that it’s time to take their medications, so they never miss a dose.
ERRAND SERVICE: We can help seniors with any errands they need, including picking up prescriptions and groceries and mailing packages.
LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING: It’s essential to keep the home as clean and tidy as possible. We help with light housekeeping needs like laundry and dishes.
HOME SAFETY ASSESSMENT: We have a 43-point safety assessment that points out hazards in the home that could lead to an unsafe environment.

How much does the service cost?

We charge an hourly, flat rate no matter what services are required. We work with you and your loved one to conduct a full assessment to determine the hours required in properly assisting your loved one.

Does insurance cover the cost of your Columbus home care assistance?

Many clients cover our Columbus-based home care assistance with long-term care insurance or the VA Aid and Attendance benefit program. Some of our services may be covered by Medicaid, but most of our offices don’t currently accept this. Please note that major medical insurance providers do not cover in-home care assistance. If you’re eligible for the VA benefit, we can help you with the prequalification process. Medicare’s GUIDE Model may offer resources for individuals with dementia and their family caregivers. Ask us for details.

Throughout this difficult journey, the caregivers showed remarkable compassion, patience, and genuine kindness.   Caring of Columbus was a perfect fit for my Mother's care.  Both Tiffany and Chanele went over and above on many occasions to make sure my Mother was well cared for and safe.   They were always professional, but, added that personal touch that was very important when caring for a loved one with cognitive issues.  Do not hesitate to call and use their services.
