Our caregivers assist clients with a range of tasks, promoting their independence.

PERSONAL CARE: Our home caregivers are here help with daily personal care tasks like bathing, getting dressed, mobility, exercise, and more.

RESPITE CARE: Our respite care is here to provide a much-needed break for family caregivers. You can relax knowing your loved one is in good hands.
TRANSPORTATION: Getting around town can be a challenge for seniors. We offer safe transportation services to help seniors keep their independence.
FAMILY PORTAL: Every one of our clients receives a tablet with access to our Family Portal to help with communication and scheduling care.
MEAL PREPARATION: We are happy to prepare nutritious and delicious meals that adhere with personal preferences and dietary restrictions.
MEDICATION REMINDERS: A medication schedule can be challenging to stay on top of. Our medication reminders ensure seniors never miss a dose.
ERRAND SERVICE: Our home caregivers can run help errands such as picking up prescriptions and groceries and dropping off packages.
LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING: Keeping the home clean and tidy helps maintain a safe and comfortable home for seniors. We help with laundry and other light housekeeping.
HOME SAFETY ASSESSMENT: We can provide our 43-point safety assessment to ensure the home is a safe environment for our seniors.

How much does the service cost?

We charge an hourly, flat rate no matter what services are required. We work with you and your loved one to conduct a full assessment to determine the hours required in properly assisting your loved one.

Does insurance cover the cost of your Columbus home care assistance?

Many clients cover our Columbus-based home care assistance with long-term care insurance or the VA Aid and Attendance benefit program. Some of our services may be covered by Medicaid, but most of our offices don’t currently accept this. Please note that major medical insurance providers do not cover in-home care assistance. If you’re eligible for the VA benefit, we can help you with the prequalification process. Medicare’s GUIDE Model may offer resources for individuals with dementia and their family caregivers. Ask us for details.

For over three years, they provided dedicated care for my mother as her condition gradually declined—from needing help with daily tasks and companionship. Throughout this difficult journey, the caregivers showed remarkable compassion, patience, and genuine kindness. I would especially like to recognize Tiffani and Chanele, who went above and beyond in every way. Their attentiveness and warmth made an incredible difference, and they truly became like trusted members of our family.   I can not express how much gratitude I have for this team. They helped my mother be as independent as possible until we had to move to higher level of care!   Caring of Columbus was a perfect fit for my Mother's care.  Both Tiffany and Chanele went over and above on many occasions to make sure my Mother was well cared for and safe.   They were always professional, but, added that personal touch that was very important when caring for a loved one with cognitive issues.  Do not hesitate to call and use their services.
