Frequently Asked Questions About Home Care
How quickly can home care services begin?
Many families can begin receiving care within just a few days. In urgent situations, we may be able to start services even sooner. Contact your local Caring Senior Service office to discuss your needs.
Can I choose my caregiver?
We carefully match caregivers based on your loved one’s needs, preferences, and personality. If a different caregiver would be a better fit, we’ll work with you to make a change.
How much does the service cost?
We charge an hourly, flat rate no matter what services are required. We work with you and your loved one to conduct a full assessment to determine the hours required in properly assisting your loved one.
Is there a minimum number of hours for care?
Care plans are personalized based on each family’s needs. Your local office can recommend a schedule that provides the right level of support.
What if my loved one's needs change?
Yes. Your care team regularly reviews your loved one’s care and updates the care plan as needs evolve.
Can I meet the caregiver before care begins?
Yes. At the start of care, we personally introduce your caregiver and review your care plan together. This allows you and your loved one to get acquainted, ask questions, and feel comfortable before services begin.
