Andreanna, a caregiver from our Littleton, CO, office, doesn’t just meet expectations—she redefines what it means to provide GreatCare. Through her unwavering commitment to excellence, service, professionalism, teamwork, and family-centered care, she consistently goes above and beyond for her clients and colleagues alike. Her story is one of devotion, courage, and heart.

Andreanna’s commitment to excellence is evident in even the smallest details of her work—and the life-changing impact those details can have.
When she began caring for a client who had lost all interest in eating, Andreanna recognized that nutrition was not just a physical need, but an emotional one. She took it upon herself to prepare hearty, home-cooked Southern meals during her shifts, and even on her days off, ensuring her client never felt alone or overlooked. This act of love and dedication helped restore not only the client’s appetite, but her overall well-being.
The results were undeniable. The client gained 10 pounds of healthy weight, a milestone that brought peace of mind to her family. Her son shared, “All was excellent with her weight gain of 10 lbs. I know this was because of Andreanna’s help.” That is excellence in action—care that nourishes both body and spirit.
Service That Goes Beyond the Schedule
Andreanna’s heart for service extends far beyond what is required. One of her clients lives a significant distance away, and once a month, Andreanna makes the long drive to spend the day caring for her in a deeply personal way. She does her hair, takes her to a nail appointment, and enjoys lunch together—simple moments that mean everything.
With the client’s daughter living out of state, this monthly ritual has become a cherished source of comfort and stability. The client trusts no one else to provide this care—only Andreanna. After each visit, Andreanna thoughtfully sends photos of the client smiling, freshly styled, and clearly happy. These moments reflect a level of service that transcends tasks and becomes true companionship.
Responsibility in Moments That Matter Most
Andreanna’s sense of responsibility shines brightest during moments of crisis. While accompanying a client to the grocery store, a reckless driver suddenly sped toward them. Without hesitation, Andreanna stepped between the vehicle and her client, protecting her from further harm.
Although the client fell and suffered bruising and a broken arm, Andreanna immediately took control of the situation. Despite her own blood pressure rising from the shock, she stayed focused—contacting the office, calling the police, gathering witness statements, and ensuring everything was properly documented.
Later that evening, with the client’s son out of the country, Andreanna stayed overnight so her client would not be alone. Her calm leadership, courage, and accountability in a frightening situation demonstrate what true responsibility looks like in caregiving.
Professionalism You Can Count On
Andreanna approaches her role with a level of professionalism that sets a standard for others. She is dependable, prepared, and fully present with her clients. Even in emotionally charged situations, she remains composed and focused on what matters most—safety, dignity, and quality care.
Her care notes are detailed and accurate, reflecting her pride in her work and her respect for the entire care team. She communicates changes promptly, advocates confidently for her clients, and consistently represents the highest standards of Caring Senior Service.
A Commitment to Growth & Learning
Andreanna’s dedication doesn’t stop at daily care—she is equally committed to learning and growing as a caregiver. She was genuinely excited to complete her caregiver training and even asked for more opportunities to expand her knowledge.
Although she doesn’t consider herself tech-savvy, Andreanna regularly checks in with the office to refresh her understanding of systems and ensure she stays fully up to date. She attends every in-service training and actively participates, always eager to learn how she can serve her clients better.
Her passion for caregiving extends beyond the workplace as well. Andreanna participated in the Denver Fight to End Alzheimer’s Walk, bringing her aunt along to support the cause and raise awareness for a condition that impacts so many families we serve.
Finding Meaning in the Rewards
For Andreanna, the greatest rewards come from helping others—but she also appreciates knowing her hard work is valued. Through the Caring Rewards program, she proudly earned points that she used to purchase a special gift for her granddaughter.
That moment serves as a powerful reminder that recognition matters—and that when caregivers feel seen and appreciated, the impact reaches far beyond the workplace.
Strengthening the Team Through Compassion
Andreanna is not only an exceptional caregiver to her clients—she is a true team player. She has brought in a client referral, consistently supports her coworkers, and takes the time to advocate for VA clients by helping them understand their benefits.
When a client’s spouse was unexpectedly taken to the emergency room, Andreanna volunteered—off the schedule—to stop by and help the client feel comfortable with a new caregiver staying overnight. Her willingness to step in wherever needed strengthens the entire Caring Senior Service family.
Treating Every Client Like Family
What truly sets Andreanna apart is how she treats every client like family. As a full-time caregiver for her granddaughter on the autism spectrum, she carries immense responsibility in her personal life—yet she still shows up each day with warmth, patience, and grace.
She brings that same love and understanding into every client relationship. Even while out of town, Andreanna took the time to guide another caregiver on how best to support a client who struggles with new people, ensuring continuity of care and emotional safety.
